Half Life 1 > All for SP.
My MP game of choice varies with my mood, but organised (or un-organised as in this case ;0)CS with my clan is always fun.

Battlefield 2... pretty fun to play with. I love it when you can hook c4 onto a jeep or tank and drive it into enemies or bases and blow them to hell!

Careful... Homeland Security is listening. They might declare you a terriorist for encouraging such tactics.

F.E.A.R. demo looks good, but I'll wait until I can get it cheap.
If you like old games, Clive Barker's Undying was one of the best I've ever played, especially the past/present monastery levels. Maximum PC magazine gave it their coveted "piss-your-pants game of the year award" when it was released.

Hehe, if you've ever gotten spawn-kill-trapped because of an enemy Leviathan firing its point-singularity main gun at your base core, then you know what pain and flying corpses are all about. The Levi's deployed gun makes all other game weapons seem like dirt!

The Battlefield 2 expasion is out.. And all I have to say is "HOOOOOLY EFFIN' MOSES." It's a HUGE improvement over an already great game with lots of new guns (Heckler and Koch and FN Browning.. My two absolute favourites of all time. Now if only they'd add some SIG..). New toys, too: grappling hooks, zip lines, night vision.. All that fun stuff. Give it a shot - it's worth it.

I can... I don't to toot my own horn.. But toot motherfuggin' toot - I can snipe with the best of 'em with my Barret rifle. Earlier today I was playing Strike at Kontra and picked off 2 dozen MEC from across the river. They never expect snipers on an urban map o_O Love that guilie suit - can't be seen if you hide in a bush or in tall grass.
But I will give you one hint... If you see birds fly somewhere a good 100 meters from you... Run. You'll have pockshots taken at you.

Sorry to break it to ya, but she's already taken by one of the other LAN gamers at that party.
My wife was also there fragging away. She actually did fairly well despite being an FPS rookie. She also plays GW.
